REGIONAL CHALLENGES TO THE CENTURY CASTILE. A REFLECTION AT THE APRIL 23
occasion of the commemoration of the April 23 National Day of Castilla, the Secretary of Organization of training Castilianist Commoner Land (TC) has shared a working breakfast at the Hotel Cordon, Burgos capital, which reflected on the challenges facing Castile in the XXI century.
Given the many issues with which the Spaniards have to deal today and in the immediate future, the party responsible for community member organization, identified four main groups: the statutory development and the new regional financing first, second place the urgent need for Castilla and recover autonomous political weight, the structuring of Castilian territory as a priority, and finally the need for progress in development.
Luis Marcos said that after ratification of the new Statute of Autonomy of Castile and Leon, consolidates this Community as a territory of the second (similar to what will happen shortly in Castilla-La Mancha), is important not to lose Battle of the regional financing, which will open this reformulation in 2008, and in which the "population lobby" composed mainly of Catalonia, Andalusia and Valencia aims to cut income communities unpopulated interior (the two plateaus of Castile, Extremadura and Aragón). Mark says it is urgent to define a reasonable weight in the funding of events such as dispersal, depopulation, aging, water generation, energy and raw materials or the preservation of cultural and environmental heritage, with the aim of ensuring that all State citizens and territories have equality in the provision of quality educational services, health and basic social infrastructures as well as balanced. The Secretary of Organization of castilianist also called as urgent an institutional framework for cooperation between the Castilian communities, and especially to define the relationship between the communities of Madrid and Castilla-León and Castilla-La Mancha, the great financial opportunity, technology, demographics for the whole of Castile.
As Castilla's need to regain political clout, Marcos said the current irrelevance of the Castilian communities, real caboose of the autonomous state, the result of the lack of identification of the political elites, cultural and economic Castilla and its territory, with politicians who live pending state policy and that are local or regional institutions of Castile as a simple temporal scope for the realization of "Merit for promotion." Luis Marcos claimed, against the subordination of the PP and PSOE in government policy, an independent political project for Castilla, endogenous in its composition and self-centered in their goals, to retrieve the values \u200b\u200bof ethics, honesty and participation between society citizen of this land.
Secretary Commoner Land Organization (CT) highlighted the need to structure the Castilian territory as one of the priorities of the Castilian more immediate future, not only through cooperation between the Castilian communities, but also through administrative decentralization of the institutions autonomic excessively concentrated today, through the creation of metropolitan areas in the vicinity of large cities and capitals, and through regionalization, modern and effective alternative to the crisis of rural youth exodus, depopulation and aging against the corrupt and partisan nepotism of the Provincial Councils.
Finally, Luis Marcos made a plea to develop in a sustainable, economic and social potential of Castile, surpassing the subsidiary role that historically has been given throughout the state, as a mere producer of raw materials and labor work for development of peripheral communities. To this end, Mark glossed strengths that can enhance the English economy, as its vast territory, its population made up their enormous potential cultural, historical and natural, or their language, which claimed more attention of the state in infrastructure, communication ( AVE and motorways), innovation (internet and research centers) and social (hospitals, schools, kindergartens, homes for the elderly, etc ...).
